Glentworth still on top

Glentworth played Middle Rasen Tupholme at home in the Southern Division of the Bishop Norton Short Mat Bowls League and comfortably won 8-2 to keep them in top position.

Bishop Norton Green were at home to Middle Rasen Drax and won 7-3.

Glentham also had played Drax at home and won 8-2 and this win keeps them in second place just ahead of Bishop Norton Green.

Lea played won 8-2 at home to Bishop Norton Yellow, while Reepham, a few matches behind most teams, had a good 10-0 home win against Middle Rasen Drax.

In the Northern Division Trentside were grateful for a 6-4 win away to Scawby Orange and Scawby Blue also won 6-4 away to South Kelsey.

Bottom club Perry’s Gold got a 6-4 win at home to third-placed Waddingham Red, while Bottesford Green beat South Kelsey Blue 8-2 at home.
