Snow chance of a footie game?

Badgers will play eight games next month, five of them away from home, after the Parkgate game was moved to Tuesday 26th February.

Before that, they’ll hope to take to the field of play on Saturday, when they’re scheduled to host Tadcaster Albion at Cannon Park.

The picture above, taken by the club on Saturday, shows just how much snow fell on the pitch during the recent cold snap.

And with the forecast predicting below freezing temperatures before the weekend, it seems unlikely that Badgers will return to action on Saturday.

Next Tuesday they’re due to travel to Nostell Miners Welfare for a 7.45pm kick-off.
