Rumours: Paul Pogba move to Manchester United draws nearer

France star Paul Pogba, fresh from his European Championships semi-final triumph last night, is still being linked with a Â£100m move from Juventus to Manchester United, according to newspaper reports.

Both The Daily Telegraph and the Guardian are reporting that the move could be sorted in the coming weeks.

The Telegraph says new United boss Jose Mourinho hopes to finalise the move before the Community Shield at the start of August. The Guardian says the player’s agent is to meet Juventus officials after the European Championship final.

Two newspapers are linking another Euro 2016 star, Wales’ Joe Allen, with a move away from Liverpool.

The Daily Telegraph says his former club Swansea City are among six in the race for his signature, while the Daily Mirror confirm he is one of up to eight players who boss Jurgen Klopp may offload.
