A home game against Clipstone Welfare kicks off 2013 for Steve Toyne’s men on Saturday, before a trip to Eccleshill United on Wednesday, the second of eight fixtures this month.

Fifteenth-placed Town were beaten 1-0 in their final outing of 2012, at Knaresborough Town, where Steve Bromley got the only goal on 63 minutes in front of a crowd of 173.

It is hoped that tomorrow’s game will see prolific front man Liam Cartledge play in his 399th game for Dinnington.

In the NCEL Premier, Maltby Main are also 15th at the turn of the year, and begin 2013 with a visit to Barton Town Old Boys.

They were last in action on 22nd December, when they went down 4-0 at league leaders Scarborough Athletic, only Maltby’s third defeat in 11 games.

Central Midlands Football League outfit Kiveton Park are at home in their first fixture of January, hosting second-placed Dronfield Town.

Kiveton go into the game in fifth position in the ‘Black Dragon Division’ table.
