Mallen Trophy finals day

Finals day of this year’s Mallen Trophy will be held at Cuckney Cricket Club on Bank Holiday Monday.

The 20/20 competition at the club on Langwith Road (A632) has become very popular over the years, starting at 11.15am on the 27th August.

Semi-finals between Marshalls and Ordsall Bridon and Glapwell and Notts & Arnold Amateur will take place on the two pitches there.

The final between the winners of both matches will take place at 3pm.

“Everyone is welcome in what should prove to be an exciting day of cricket and the bar is open throughout the day and a barbecue and refreshments will also be available,” organisers said.
