Worksop: Town chip shop makes regional short-list
A Worksop chip shop has made the final short-list in the race to be crowned regional Independent Takeaway Fish and Chip Shop of the Year for Eastern England.
Papa’s Fish and Chips, on High Hoe Road, will compete against chip shops from Market Deeping, Grantham, Peterborough, Gorleston and Wells-next-the-Sea to win the regional title.
Should they win, they will go forward to represent Eastern England against the other national champions from around the country to see who is crowned the best at the prestigious awards ceremony at The Lancaster Hotel in London, hosted by Michelin-starred chef and TV personality Jean Christophe Novelli.
