Tuxford: Student heritage book gets funding from community groups in Tuxford and Retford

Community members and groups from Tuxford, Retford and Newark have shown their support for the production of a local heritage book produced by students from Tuxford Academy’s Local History and Archaeology club.

Community members and groups from Tuxford, Retford and Newark have shown their support for the production of a local heritage book produced by students from Tuxford Academy’s Local History and Archaeology club.

The students have received £1,500 towards the production costs of the book, which will be gifted to local libraries, community groups and schools.

Funding was also received from the Rotary Club of Retford, Tuxford Town Council, Reads Exhibition Foundation, Friends of Tuxford Academy and the Lady White and Poor’s Charities.
