Biker injured in Gainsborough crash

A BIKER suffered serious injuries when his motorcycle collided with a car near Northorpe, Gainsborough today (Saturday).

The crash happened on the B1205 Gainsborough Road at Northorpe near the junction with the A15 at noon.

The rider of a red Suzuki motorbike, a 20-year-old Doncaster man, was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with serious fractures and a head injury.

The driver of a Red Renault Scenic, a 64-year-old man from Lincoln, is not thought to be injured.

A pillion passenger on the motorbike has also been taken to hospital with less serious injuries.
