Worksop man makes it to Team Tom on ITV's The Voice
A singer from Worksop was seen to wow the judges and the audience on ITV's The Voice on Saturday, with many local people congratulating him for his performance on social media.
Harry Linacre is from a musical family in Worksop, as his dad Rob is a professional singer, with his grandfather and uncles also blessed with musical talent.

The 31-year old who sang Sweet Dreams and achieved a turn from Tom Jones on the programme, told how for him, it has been a long wait to see the show aired as it was filmed originally in summer last year.
He said: "It's still a waiting game on this as another show was filmed then none of us are 100 per cent sure of the conclusion.
"I'm still in touch with other contestants but it's almost like I've moved on to another time of life while waiting for this to be shown."
He continued: "The team on The Voice are lovely and it's been a great experience. They are very big on mental health and the wellbeing of the contestants which is very good.
"I wasn't overly happy with my performance but I'm a perfectionist when it comes to singing. Being on the show teaches you a lot about being in high pressure situations."
Acts on The Voice compete to win a record contract with Universal Music Group, £50,000 in cash, and a dream holiday to Universal Orlando Resort in Florida.

Harry grew up in Worksop and was a pupil at Outwood Academy Portland before moving to London at the age of 16 to study music at the BRIT School in London.
He attended the Young Theatre Company in Worksop in his younger years, and said: "I grew up watching my dad perform and always wanted to sing."
He returned to his home town then moved back to London six years ago to pursue his career as a recording artist, and has been writing and releasing his own music for four years, with 280,000 followers on TikTok.
Harry, who has sung the national anthem at Wembley no less than six times, added: "I think I've worked in about every possible venue, from the London Palladium to working men's clubs, cruise ships, cathedrals and all kinds of events.”

"I was scouted for the Voice in 2024 after being asked several times before when dates just didn't align, so this last time I decided to give it a go.
"My ambition remains to do what I love, support my family and tour the world singing my music. I'm a live performer at heart and think I always will be."
He is described within his biography as ‘a London-based independent R&B/Soul artist, songwriter and vocalist known for his distinctive voice, soulful songwriting and contemporary take on classic R&B influences.
