How to be prepared for Turn It Pink Bassetlaw next month
It's time to start turning Bassetlaw pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Aurora Wellbeing Centres are spearheading a campaign throughout October to Turn It Pink, and want businesses, organisations, schools and groups across Bassetlaw to join in in a big way.
Turn It Pink will help raise awareness and vital funds for the great work being done at Aurora, with Turn It Pink Sign-Up Packs available now, containing everything you need to get involved in this year's campaign.
Taking part can be as simple as decorating your premises in pink, displaying a supporter sticker, dressing in pink, holding a fundraiser, or entering one of our campaign competitions.

Supporters will receive campaign materials, social media graphics and recognition as part of the campaign.
If you'd like to take part, and help turn Bassetlaw pink, completed forms must be returned by September 30, 2026 to ensure you receive your campaign materials in time for the start of October.
Another way to help is by spreading the word on social media, and encouraging other people and local businesses to get involved.
As a Turn It Pink Supporter you will receive an official Turn It Pink window sticker, a certificate for your workplace or shop window, social media graphics and campaign wording, recognition as a participating business, entry into the Best Pink Window Competition if you trim up, and ideas and guidance to help you raise awareness and funds throughout October

Businesses are invited to become official Turn It Pink supporters with a suggested £10 donation directly to Aurora Wellbeing Centres.
You are also welcome to raise additional funds through your own event, activity or customer donation point.
Winners will be celebrated during the campaign and recognised for helping Bassetlaw turn pink with prizes for Best Dressed Window, Most Creative Fundraising For the business with the most imaginative fundraising idea, event or activity and Prize for Most Money Raised.
Prize details will be confirmed and shared with participating businesses before judging takes place.
Turn It Pink will include bra donation points across Bassetlaw. Donated bras will help create community art installations designed to raise awareness and show the power of many individual contributions coming together for one shared cause.
Forms are available from Aurora Wellbeing Centres or email [email protected].
Once registered, you will receive supporter materials and further information.
