Part of main road in Nottinghamshire closed after crash
The A1 northbound lanes near Tuxford is closed after a lorry crashed into a bridge.
Police were called at around 4.30am and are currently working with Highways England to assess the structural integrity of the bridge following the collision.
Diversions are in place around the scene of the incident and drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
The road will reopen once it has been cleared and is deemed safe to do so.
Nobody is thought to have been injured in the collision.
