Dancing their way through alphabet

The Everett-Fox School of Dance pupils’ next show will be the Alphabet of Dance at the Trinity Arts Centre in Gainsborough.

They will be doing three performances on 14th, 15th and 16th June.

“Our shows are always a sell-out and now we have more pupils we decided to put on an extra show,” said Tracey.

Mum Nicola Smith, of Deans Close, Misterton, has two daughters who go to the dance school.

Alex, 13, does ballet, tap and street dance, while Victoria, 11, does ballet and tap.

She said: “The studio is an excellent facility and we’re lucky to have it in walking distance.”

“It’s great because kids of that age sometimes struggle to find things to do.”

“They absolutely love it, and Alex has been helping with the younger ones.”

“It’s a way of keeping them healthy and fit and it’s something that they enjoy.”

Laura Fletcher, of Epworth Road, Haxey, has three daughters who dance.

Olivia, six, Jessica, four, and three-year-old Sophie will all be in the June show.

Laura said: “Tracey makes it fun for them and they all enjoy it.”

“It’s amazing what they learn and what she can get them to do.”

“Olivia has done exams and they don’t seem to faze her.”
