Notts: Man headbutts staff nurse

Jason Middleton, 43, assaulted Steven Wilkinson, a new employee at the time, on 29th July 2013, as he was being transferred to a seclusion room.

Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard the two males had spoken earlier that morning before the incident happened.

The court also heard that Jason had a list of offences amounting to a 19-page document, dating from 1985 until 2013.

The Magistrates said: “It is almost a year since this happened and you know you have done wrong, please do not go around headbutting anybody else.”

He was ordered to pay £50 compensation.
