Motorcyclist dies in Hemswell road accident

A motorcylist has died following a road accident in Hemswell yesterday (October 4).

The South Yorkshire man, said to be in his 50s, was riding his motorbike on the A631 Hemswell Lane when the incident took place.

He was travelling towards Caenby Corner on his Suzuki motorbike at the time of the collision.

He died as a result of his injuries.

No further details have been released about his identity until all next of kin are aware.

Lincolnshire Police officers are appealing for any witnesses who have not already spoken to them.

A force spokesman said: “In particular one car is believed to have stopped just after the incident and the occupants may have witnessed something that could assist the enquiry.

“Officers would like to speak to the driver or occupants to see if they have any information that may be relevant to the investigation.”
