Misterton: Pupils get cash boost for Christmas tree festival

Pupils at Misterton Primary School are entering into the spirit of Christmas with an entry in the Christmas Tree Festival at the parish church.

The school council was presented with a cheque for £50 towards the cost of the tree, which they selected from a nearby plantation.

The donation was from the District Council’s members’ community grants fund.

Each class was asked to make tree decorations.

Members of the school council then selected the best to hang on the tree.

The Christmas Tree Festival is on at the church until 12noon on Saturday, December 12.
