Gainsborough MP Edward Leigh is knighted in Queen’s birthday honours

Sir Edward, who has been an MP for 30 years, was given the honour for his public and political service.

He said he was ‘delighted’ with the honour.

A celebratory lunch is being hosted by the Gainsborough Constituency Conservative Association on Friday.
