Gainsborough: Chance to audition to be on charity album

Have You Heard is a charity competition looking to find the 12 best singers or musicians in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Auditions are being held as part of the competition that are open to live audiences.

The final 12 acts will be professionally recorded and produced onto the charity album.

The winner will also get to perform a duet with West End star Shona Lyndsay, who played Christina in Lloyd-Webber’s Phantom of the Opera.

The album will go on sale both online and in St Barnabas charity store outlets across the county once completed.

The first round of Auditions are at the Engine Shed, Lincoln on Saturday 8th November.

And a second date for first round auditions has been scheduled at Magnus School, Newark for Saturday 15th November.

Audtions will take place from 12pm to 2pm, 3pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm.

The competition is open to people of all ages and it can be for solo artists or groups.

The artists may perform to live music, a backing track or a-cappella.
