The accolades for long-term service were presented to nine volunteers by Bassetlaw District Councillor Jim Anderson and royal voluntary service manager John Jewitt at a ceremony at the hospital in March.
The volunteers were praised for their services at the Bassetlaw Hospital shop, coffee shop, outpatient department and orthopaedic department, as well as providing a vitally important link for patients with a ward trolley service which operates 364 days a year.
John Jewitt said: “Without the volunteers who give their time freely and selflessly, the organisation would not function.
“They are an integral part of our organisation, and we are immensely gratified with the time that the volunteers give freely.
“They should be proud of what they do helping us to provide these services in the Bassetlaw district.”
