Bassetlaw: Rail company wins platinum by going green
Northern Rail, which runs services through Worksop, Retford and Gainsborough, has been awarded Platinum status in the Business in the Community (BITC) Environment Index.
Platinum is the highest possible status available and reflects Northern’s commitment to tackling climate change.
Alex Hynes, managing director for Northern, said: “We are delighted with this result, and demonstrating once again that we are growing stronger every year in our commitment to sustainability.”
