Bassetlaw: Doncaster and Bassetlaw hospitals are best places to work

A recent NHS survey has revealed that Doncaster and Bassetlaw hospitals are one of the best places to work in South Yorkshire.

The survey conducted by Capita, revealed that 74% of staff who work at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals rated their Trust as the best place to work.

Another 78% said that they would recommend the Trust to their family and friends as a place for care and treatment,

Dawn Jarvis, director of people and organisational development at the trust, said: “We welcome these results which show just how positively staff view their workplace and the care we provide to patients.

“We are always striving to look after our greatest asset, our staff, and these results confirm our ambitions of being the employer of choice.”

“I am convinced that our strong culture of training and development has played a key role in the way staff view their organisation and the quality of care.”

The survey results are based on responses from around a sample of 2,000 staff across the Trust’s sites at Bassetlaw Hospital in Worksop, Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Montagu Hospital in Mexborough,
