Appeal to business to help transform young people’s lives

The Prince’s Trust is asking local businesses to help change young people’s lives.

As part of its team programme run by Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, 15 people will take part in a 12 week programme to develop their skills and get them back into work, education or training.

Lorraine Espin-Hempsall from the Prince’s Trust, said: “We are looking to businesses in Gainsborough to help the young people on our development programme, by giving them the opportunity to have a two-week work placement between 1st and 12th July.”

“If your organisation has entry-level work experience opportunities in retail, administration, maintenance, catering, mechanics and other practical roles, and is keen to help young people develop workplace skills, then we’d like to hear from you.”
