Anston woman raises cash for hospital

Barbara Vollans held a fundraising event at Rotherham Hospital on Friday.

She had a stall in the reception area of the hospital where she was selling a range of goods including books, DVDs, CDs, gifts and nearly new clothing.

There was also a tombola which patients, staff and visitors could take part in.

Barbara said: “The event was well attended and raised £242.50 for Rotherham Hospital Cancer Care.”

Barbara was not alone in her fundraising. She was assisted by her husband Alan and sister Pat Taylor.
