And we have a family ticket to give away for the performance on December 6.

This favourite of all panto stories sees hapless hero Jack Trott land in a heap of trouble when he trades Daisy The Cow for a handful of beans.

But with a sprinkle of magic, he’s soon on a crazy quest to climb a beanstalk, defeat an evil giant, find fame and fortune and finally pay off his mum’s Council Tax bill!

The action-packed adventure is brought magically to life by The Young Theatre Company, featuring a talented cast of almost 200 young performers aged four to 21, alongside the not so young but well-loved panto dame David Cavell guest-starring as the hilarious Dame Dotty Trott’

Written by best-selling local writer Craig Hawes, the pantomime also includes some of Craig’s original songs from his internationally-acclaimed musicals, along with show-stoppers from Hairspray and Mary Poppins.

“It’s a really magical family show full of surprises, with highlights including a talking chicken, Daisy the tap-dancing cow and a breath-taking beanstalk that really has to be seen to be believed,” said director and choreographer Hayla Hawes.

“It’s packed with festive fun, crazy characters and non-stop laughter and promises to be our biggest and best yet.”

The show is on from December 2-6 at 7pm each night, plus a Saturday matinee at 2pm.

All tickets are £8 on 01909 501817 or online at www.youngtheatre.com
