Strictly stars in live tour heading our way

Newly-crowned Strictly Come Dancing champion Harry Judd will be delighting dance fans all over again when he takes part in the live UK tour starting later this month.

The McFly drummer gained an impressive score of 156 out of 160 across four dances in the Strictly final to win the famous glitter ball with his professional partner Aliona Vilani, who also made it to the final in 2010 with Matt Baker.

The final of the hugely popular BBC hit, broadcast live the week before Christmas, was watched by more than 12 million people.

They witnessed Harry’s fellow band members storming the stage to congratulate him straight after the winning names were revealed.

Harry will now strut his stuff live on the Strictly Come Dancing Tour, where he will be taking to the stage in the UK and Ireland.

The list of stars joining Harry on tour are runners-up Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healey and her partner Pasha Kovalev.

They will be joined by third-placed Australian singer and actor Jason Donovan with his partner Kristina Rihanoff.

Also on the star-studded bill will be EastEnders legend Anita Dobson, ex-Olympic swimmer Mark Foster, former footballer Robbie Savage and the glamorous Nancy Dell’Olio.

The judging panel will feature Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, who is also directing the arena tour for the second year running.

Strictly Come Dancing will be at Nottingham Capital FM Arena on 24th and 25th January and at Sheffield Motorpoint Arena on 2nd and 3rd February, all shows starting at 7.30pm.

Over the last four years the tour has sold more than 1.3 million tickets.

On tour Strictly fans get to watch their favourite dancing couples compete live for votes and hear the all important feedback of the TV judges.

Then audience members can then vote themselves via their mobile phones.

Arena audiences will get to experience all of Strictly’s glitz, glamour and breathtaking choreography, right in front of their very eyes.

The 2011 tour received rave reviews in the national newspapers. The Sunday Express asked “Does it get much better? Not often” and awarded the show a five star review.

The Daily Telegraph’s four star review described the tour as “the ultimate feel good show”. And the Mail on Sunday’s four star review said that “the audience adored every second”.

The television format, also known as Dancing with the Stars, entered the Guinness Book of World Records two years ago as the world’s most successful reality television show and has been sold by BBC Worldwide to over 35 international broadcasters.
