The Events will take to the stage on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th March.

Exploring the impact of a horrific politically motivated crime on a small community, The Events examines the nature of forgiveness, reconciliation and tolerance and asks how far understanding will stretch in the face of atrocity.

With a brand new cast and featuring a different local choir every night performing a soaring soundtrack by Irish composer John Browne, what unfolds is a tale of tragedy, obsession and the destructive desire to fathom the unfathomable.

The Actors Touring Company is presenting the contemporary theatre, using the theatre to tell stories from different perspectives from around the world.

The company has collaborated with a broad range of UK and international theatre makers, commissioning writers, sourcing the best international scripts and translating them into English for the first time.
