Pubs in Worksop ready for opening on Monday with outdoor areas

As we move towards the next dates on the roadmap out of lockdown, these Worksop pubs have announced when they plan to welcome customers back.

Tier restrictions and subsequent lockdowns have meant that pubs in Worksop have been closed since last year and residents are eagerly awaiting their reopening for outdoor drinking and dining on April 12.

Punters could be allowed to meet indoors at a pub or restaurant in groups of up to six people, or two households, from May 17.

We have put together a list of the pubs that plan to open in April and May and will be updating this page when venues release more details about their plans.

The Station Hotel, Worksop are opening their outdoor seating area on April 12 and are taking bookings now for tables outside on 01909 474108

The Cannon, Worksop is reopening on May 17 - Staff said "To begin with we will still have to uphold the rule of six to table and from two households, table service, face coverings and social distancing etc but we will let you know more about this closer to the time." Pre book on [email protected]
St Joseph's Social Club on Wingfield Avenue are planning to reopen from May 17 if all other guidelines and criteria are met. A staff member said: "We will be adhering to the rule of six people of two households being able to sit together as well as face masks and social distancing. We will update our Facebook page as and when we receive more information from the government. The Greendale Oak, in Cuckney, is planned to reopen from Wednesday April 14. A £15,000 investment has been made to create a covered outdoor area which will have the capacity for around 160 people. A system that will allow bookings will be opened at the beginning of April.
The Millhouse is planned to be re-opened May 17.
The Shireoaks Inn will be open from Monday April 12. Opening times are 3-8pm. There is only a small outside area so numbers will be limited. To book call on 01909 472118

Opening on Monday, April 12. Customer advised to book but a limited number of tables will be reserved for walk ins. Rule of six, track and trace and face masks still apply. Table reservations will have a maximum of a two hour stay.
Opening Monday, April 12 from 12-7pm for drinks only until the take or stay menu starts on Thursday, April 15. No booking required. Opening times for first week are Monday to Thursday 12-7pm, Friday and Saturday 12-8pm and Sunday 12-6pm.If the weather turns poor or the pub is quiet then it will be closing early. Tables are for a maximum for six people and can be from mixed households.
Opening from Tuesday, April 13. Opening times Tuesday to Thursday 4-8pm, Friday 2-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 12-8pm for takeouts and outside table service.
Beer gardening opening on Monday, April 12. A percentage of seating will be reserved and the rest of the tables will be left for walk ins. Food will not be served until May.
