Music, dance, children’s shows and drama offer a fun-packed programme.

The season launches with a sell-out production of Grumpy Old Women - Fifty Shades of Beige on April 8. The original star of Grumpy Old Women, Jenny Eclair, will be joined by Susie Blake (Mrs Brown’s Boys, Coronation Street) and actress and singer Kate Robbins (Where the Heart is, Casualty).

This year marks the centenary of the birth of the late Frank Sinatra. The Palace Theatre will pay tribute to Ol’ Blue Eyes with Frankly Sinatra, starring Stephen Triffitt, on June 18.

Rising West End star Rebecca Freckleton will celebrate the music of Whitney Houston in Whitney - Queen of the Night on April 19.

Teens and tweenies have an Easter holiday treat in the shape of Pop Factor - The Concert on April 9, which pays tribute to favourite songs and stars from today’s pop charts.

For younger members of the family, Hugless Douglas on April 15 uses music and puppets to tell the story of a lovable young bear.

Strictly Come Dancing fans should snap up tickets for Pasha - Life Through Dance, starring the 2014 winner Pasha Kovalev. His guest star on June 12 will be Anya Garnis from Strictly Come Dancing and So You Think You Can Dance.

Ballet Theatre UK bring their sparkling production of Aladdin to the Palace on May 17.

The season’s big drama production is Cider With Rosie, staged by Mansfield Palace Community Theatre from July 2 to 4.

New Youth Theatre will stage rock ‘n’ roll classic Return To The Forbidden Planet on June 16 and 17.

The Addams Family Musical is the choice of Heanor Musical Theatre Company for their show from April 23 to 25.

Hit recording stars The Bachelors take centre stage in a variety show on April 29. while a night of music, comedy and dance, under the banner of Mansfield Variety Show, will be headed by opera sensation Lewis Laking (Russell Watson support act) on April 28.
