A new play based on folklore hero Robin Hood has its world premiere this week.
Hood - The Legend opens at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal tonight (Thursday, September 17) as part of the theatre’s 150th anniversary.
The play has been written in six sections by seven playwrights across the East Midlands, including award-winning Tim Elgood who lives in Fritchley.
Nottingham actor Jonah Russell stars as Robin Hood with Adam Morris, from TV’s Maid Marian and her Little Men, playing the Sheriff.
A joint production between New Perspectives and Theatre Royal, Hood - The Legend runs until September 26.
