For almost two decades, famous Yorkshire singer Pauline Matthews – better known by her stage name Kiki Dee – and Carmelo Luggeri have been touring their acoustic live show across the UK and Europe.
Performing in this stripped back fashion allows each of the pair to shine and create a sense of intimacy for the audience.
And 2018 marks 71-year-old Kiki’s 55th year in the music industry and has cemented her status as one of the UK’s finest vocalists.
She has enjoyed a string of hits over the years, including top-20 hits Amoureuse and Loving and Free, as well as the world famous Don’t Go Breaking My Heart alongside British music icon Elton John, a worldwide number one back in 1976 and which has gone on to sell one million copies in the UK alone.
Kiki and Carmelo’s latest critically acclaimed album, A Place Where I Can Go, features 11 tracks including the haunting duet Horses with Scottish singer Eddi Reader, of Fairground Attraction fame.
