The Musicality Singers can be seen in a concert at The Crossing in Worksop on June 20.
This popular local choir is constantly working to extend its repertoire to find something new to entertain audiences.
This summer will be no exception. At its summer concert, the choir will be showing off the range of what it can do.
As well as revisiting some traditional ballads and classic pop songs that have proved to be huge crowd pleasers in the past, the choir will be introducing new material that its members hope will prove just as popular.
That includes a new arrangement of Peggy Lee’s steamy classic, Fever. In contrast, there will also be a hauntingly beautiful, but less well known version of Ave Maria and a selection of songs from West Side Story, Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim’s much loved musical of star crossed lovers set in 1950s New York.
The choir has been busily working to make sure there is something to please everyone in their performance.
So, if you want to give yourself a treat this summer time, go along to The Musicality Singers summer concert at The Crossing in Worksop on June 20.
Tickets are £7.50 and are available at The Crossing. Doors open at 7pm, and the performance begins at 7.30pm.
