Rock veterans Therapy? are back on the road this month have a live date at The Plug in Sheffield next week.

The Belfast trio have been one of rock’s biggest draws for the last 20 years with their industrial-tinged, metallic sound, finding breakout success with their 1994 album, Troublegum.

After forming in 1989, Therapy? got to work on some early demos which were picked up by, amongst others, legendary BBC DJ, John Peel.

He played their single Meat Abstract on his show and began to champion them.

From there, the rest of the world began to take notice.

Now with a string of hit albums , they have moved on from their thrashy punk roost and developed a darker more intense sound that showed greater sophistication without ever sacrificing their accessibility.

They are at The Plug on Thursday, February 25 and tickets are available at www.the-plug.co.uk
