Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire duo Piccolo e Grande are performing a concert at St Peter & Paul’s Church in Gringley-on-the-Hill this weekend.
The concert will include a sonata not performed in the UK since about 1740.
Piccolo e Grande are Enzo Puzzovio and Stewart McCoy who have both performed professionally since 1984.
They teamed up four years ago to explore non-mainstream music from the baroque period.
Their featured instrument is the mandolino, together with an antique hurdy-gurdy. All the music is accompanied by the theorbo.
Their Gringley concert is on Saturday, June 18 at 7.30pm. Entry is free with a retiring collection at the end.
