Worksop kick-off Christmas celebrations with light switch-on event

It’s getting festive in Worksop as the town is lit up during Christmas light switch-on event.

The festive season is officially underway following the traditional Christmas lights switch-on in Worksop and Retford.

To kick-off this year’s Christmas season the lights switch-on saw crowds gather to enjoy fairground rides, carols, a tribute performance by Take This and a vibrant firework display to close the event.

The switch on ended with a fireworks display.
