Top names have gags galore at Notts venues across the autumn
Nottingham’s Theatre Royal will be the venue on October 14 for an appearance by The Horne Section.
Fronted by Taskmaster star Alex Horne, the comedy band have made appearances on The Last Leg, Peter Crouch’s Year- Late Euros, they are Dictionary Corner regulars on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and the only band to ever host Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

Hide AdSeparately, members of The Horne Section have performed with recording artists including Robbie Williams, Madness, Florence and the Machine, Amy Winehouse, George Ezra, Basement Jaxx, Disclosure and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
Unruly, ridiculous, and surprisingly satisfying, the six-headed comedy band includes five outstanding musicians and one non-musical stand-up.
There will be comedy, songs, enthusiastic dancing, and a lot of mucking about in a new show from the hugely talented band and Alex Horne, the creator and co-host of the BAFTA and National Comedy Award winning Taskmaster.

Join her for the ultimate performance review, where you’ll either see just why she was awarded Best New Act and nominated Best Newcomer…or, you’ll see someone who’s ready for “organisational restructure”.
Maisie is an increasingly familiar face on our TV screens thanks to appearances on the likes of Live At The Apollo, A League Of Their Own and Have I Got News For You.

Before then, comedy legend Joe Pasquale drops in at Mansfield Palace Theatre on September 4 and Retford Majestic Theatre on October 11 as part of his New Normal: 40 Years Of Cack tour.

Hide AdJoe has been showing off on stage for most of his life and now, after four decades of nonsense, he’s dragging out his favourite things for another airing.
Like Joe, have you ever asked questions like: can a vegetarian get a job as a Beefeater? If beauty is relative, why are all my relatives ugly? Why is it that dead people get to ride in such posh cars? If a nudist spilt beetroot soup in his lap, would he have a stain on his character?
