Royal Liverpool Phil and rising star to play at the RCH

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra will return to Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall for a performance there on Friday, March 31, from 7.30pm.

Conducted by Vasily Petrenko, the concert will feature Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, with rising British star Tamsin Waley-Cohen as the soloist.

The rest of the concert is given over to Mahler’s epic Fifth Symphony, a five-movement work which begins with a funeral march and ends in a triumphant blaze of brass.

Tickets for the concert are available on 0115 9895555 or at www.trch.co.uk
