Johnson will also once again be providing the club with coaches for away travel for the 2014-15 season.

“Many thanks to Johnson Coaches for signing up to this deal and well done to Stan Emmerson and Glynn Howarth for their work in securing the deal,” said club secretary Paul Stacey

Last Friday night the club raised just under £1,300 following a fund-raising event at The Raj in Worksop.

“Many thanks to Abby at The Raj and Iain Newton for arranging the evening,” added Mr Stacey.

Prior to the Tigers’ friendly against Handsworth Parramore, 11 year-old Luke Pickersgill did a sponsored run from his home to the ground, a distance of approximately five miles, accompanied by Dean Spencer, and raised £701.

The club would like to thank everyone who helped made these events a success and urge all fans to support our sponsors, such as Johnson Coaches and The Raj, who are supporting the Tigers.

The club’s next home friendly is against Sheffield FC on Wednesday night (30th July, 7.30pm kick-off).

Entry is £5 for adult and £3 concessions.

The following night (Thursday, 31st July), Tigers are away at Rossington Main (kick-off 7.45pm).
