Wins for Dinnington rugby youngsters

The youngsters hammered visitors Barnsley 53-7 to make it four wins from four outings.

But their scoreline was dwarfed by Dinnington Under 11s, in their first game of the season.

They hosted Dronfield and won 70-0, with Thomas Bignell scoring two tries and three conversions.

Their second game, against Nottingham touring side Paviors, ended 10-0 to Dinnington.

The club’s Under 9s played their first ever ‘contact’ match and beat Boston 45-20 away from home.

In their second encounter they improved on that result, triumphing 55-10 over Cleethorpes.
