Wellow Park race

Wellow Park Woods is the venue for the event on Sunday morning. There will be four courses, namely, Introductory, Orange, Short Technical and Long Technical.

This will be the first time Wellow Park Woods has been used for an orienteering event.

The terrain of mixed woodland with some good contour detail promises to provide a good test of navigation and fitness.

The August Bank Holiday weekend will see members of the Bassetlaw club travelling to the East Coast to compete in the annual White Rose event.

This year it will be based just north of Scarborough.
