Trio win final at Marton and Gate Burton’s Gala Day event

In their league matches, Beckingham won two of three.

Both Isle of Axholme Pensioners teams won on 28th May, with the Northern Section team winning both rinks on the last end to complete an excellent 6-0 victory at home to Misterton.

The Central Section team came out on top 4-2 at Scotter, despite being one player short on one rink.

The Isle of Axholme Evening League team lost their unbeaten record, going down 8-2 at home to Crowle on 31st May.

The Gainsborough Standard Bowls League team’s Knockout Cup match on 29th May at Wheatley was postponed due to heavy rain.

The club’s individual competitions are now underway and all members who have yet to complete their first round matches are urged to do so as soon as possible.
