Tough end of season

JOSH Croft was player of the night in the final fixtures of the Gainsborough and District Table Tennis Summer League, which served up some tough encounters.

Croft, in the handicap singles, took his chances to defeat some very experienced players and book himself a place in the final where he will meet Trevor Howdle.

Trevor has just restarted his playing career after two years’ absence and several medical operations on his hands, but he is now proving he means business.
