Three victories for Under 7s

UNDER 7s

DINNINGTON’S second competitive game of the season, at Scunthorpe, brought three wins for the Under 7s.

The first game ended 11 tries to 7 in favour of the visitiors.

Try scorers were William Cockerham (8), Henri Gavins (2) and Charlie Pearson. Dinnington were dominant in the second outing, outscoring Scunthorpe by 10 tries.

Harry Pinder got four, to add to scores from Harry Bignell (3), William Cockerham (2) and Scott Fish.

The third game was a much tighter affair, with Dinnington running out winners by a score of 5-4.

Sam Walshaw, Harry Pinder, William Cockerham, Harry Bignell and Henri Gavins got the tries.

UNDER 10s

A SQUAD of 20 traveleld to Scunthorpe for a tough encounter in bright, sunny conditions. The first game was won by the hosts who ran in five tries to Dinnington’s two, scored by Oliver and Harry B.

Dinnington were unable to cross the line in the second game, but it was closer than the 8-0 scoreline suggested.

Man of the Match was Oliver.
