Ten riders at Teversal

Last weekend’s Retford and District Wheelers’ club run was to Teversal.

Only 10 riders ventured out in cold and foggy conditions, taking a route through Clumber Park, Nether Langwith and Shirebrook before taking refreshment at the visitor centre.

The Wheelers will be holding its annual dinner and prize presentation at the Markham Moor Hotel on 11th December; reservations and menu choice should be made through David Houlton on 01909 731424 or 07836 310035 as soon as possible.

The club run this Sunday will take a flat circuitous route around the Trent side villages terminating with a cafe stop at Wroot.

This outing will be ideal for new riders and those wishing to ride a fixed gear.

Riders should meet in Retford market square at 9am.
