Teams invited to New Age Kurling event

TEAMS are being sought for the annual Lincs New Age Kurling championship, to be held in Gainsborough on 4th November.

With more than 20 clubs in the county and more than 200 people playing the sport regularly each week, each New Age Kurling club can enter as many teams of two as it would like.

Amelia Buchanan from Lincs Sports Partnership is organising the event. She said: “Lincs Sports Partnership is delighted to be working with West Lindsey District Council to hold the Lincs New Age Kurling Competition.”

He said: “The tournament is a chance for New Age Kurling clubs to meet other teams from across the county, and it’s a really good day out.”

“We’re delighted that the competition is taking place again this year, and I hope clubs from across Lincs enter their teams to take part.”

The entry fee for the doubles competition is £10 per team, with two players per team.
