Sunday best for town’s 5k

The Gainsborough 5k race takes place on Sunday 21st October, starting from West Lindsey Leisure Centre at 10am.

This is part of the West Lindsey Run Series, along with the Saxilby 5k and the Market Rasen 10k.

Entries will be accepted on the day, and Marc Rhodes at Lincs Sports Partnership is hoping for an even better race than last year’s inaugural event.

“We’re hoping for a good competitive race for the series runners and for the fun runners to be able to enjoy it as well,” he said.

“The race is being sponsored by Everyone Active and they’re keen to see lots of local people getting involved.”
