Stanley Street B climb back to the top of Two

After getting knocked off top spot last week, Stanley Street B climbed regained the summit in Division Two with a win over DTH Redlands X-Youth.

Kyle McIntosh was the hero with a maximum in the 6-4 win, backed up by Paul Linfield’s double, and the duo teamed up to win the doubles.

In Division Three both DTH Redlands Rookies beat On-Line Elks 8-2, as Jayden Budworth lost her 100 per cent record to Alan Keeling.

Jayden recovered to beat both Derek Piper and Caius Tweed but that was the only success The Elks had as both Reece Blower and Jerry Collins lost all three each.

The Elks however soon got over their disappointment, beating Ryton Park Dragons by the same scoreline with hat-tricks for Budworth and Neil Houghton.

Glen Gillgrass added a further two wins, losing out to Justin Flear in straight sets before Flear and Jack Lennon beat Gillgrass and Jerry Collins in the doubles.

The Rookies lost a real six pointer with club colleagues and title rivals The Tarr Babies despite Alan Keeling’s treble.

Derek Piper and Bob Atkinson lost to Tarr Babies Joshua Nelson, Daniel Cutts and Kieran Tutter before Tutter and Cutts won the doubles ensuring a 7-3 win for the Tarr Babies leaving them top.

Ryton Park Dragons failed to beat Stanley Street Rascals despite a Justin Flear hat-trick and a Lee Banton win.

For The Rascals both Harry Downing and Ellis Spacey won two games each with Bartrop adding another against Jack Lennon before Spacey and Downing took the double.

Division One: MBE 6 Stanley Street A 4.
