Gainsborough Aegir Cycling Club were cycling ambassadors, guiding riders around the routes.

Groups of riders from Gainsborough Riverside Festival committee and Performing Arts Club of St Johns took part.

The day was windy for the 20 cyclists that took part, a strong south wind made it a difficult ride home along the riverside.

This year’s Gainsborough Riverside Festival is on Saturday 8th June and the theme this year is the celebration of the arrival of the Vikings along the River Trent 1,000 years ago.
