Speed skate hits the NIC

Tickets have gone on sale for Nottingham’s first ever international short track speed skating competition.

The Star Class event - which will take place at the National Ice Centre between 9th and 11th January 2015 - will feature Great Britain’s top speed skaters, w alongside elite athletes from the rest of Western Europe.

Stuart Horsepool, performance director at GB Short Track said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the public to come along and experience some high octane international racing.”

This will be the third of six events in the Star Class Cup during the 2014-15 season, which culminate with the Europa Cup Finals in March next year.
