Dinnington opened the scoring after 1o minutes when after keeping the ball tight in the forwards they drove forward from a line-out and Dan Salt touched down.
Five minutes later they repeated the move but were stopped just short.
However, Michael Leitch picked up and went over to put Dinnington 10-0 ahead.

Hide AdMedics were always a threat with the ball in hand but Dinnington worked hard to nullify the danger.
Fifteen minutes from half-time tempers were raised and a melee saw both sides have a player sent to the bin.
Having faced the worst of the elements for the first half, Dinnington did well to hang onto their advantage until just before half-time when Medics’ backs got into the clear and ran in an unconverted try.
With the elements at their back in the second half, Dinnington were able to keep play inside the Medics’ half for much of the time but good defending by the visitors made Dinnington work hard.

Having finally breached the visitors’ defence Dinnington were probably expecting to stretch further ahead but they were kept out by a resilient defence and still had to be on guard themselves as Medics were always on the lookout for a breakaway opportunity.
