Schools battle in orienteering

RANBY House was the venue for the annual Bassetlaw Primary Schools Orienteering Championships last week.

And Bracken Lane Primary were celebrating as they defended the title they won last year.

Twelve schools attended, bringing over 140 children to compete on the 1.2km course.

Misterton Primary finished second, a point behind the winners, with Gainsborough’s Handel House School third.
