Tigers have been without leading marksmen Alec Denton and, while he is in contention for a return against Liversedge, Hindley wants to bolster his forward line.

He said: “We’ll look to get another striker in to work up there with Charlie (Baird) and Alec - that’s the key for us at the minute. I look at all our positions and assess what needs to be done.Goalkeeper - really strong, defence - good strength and depth, midfield - we can mix it, match it, change it and we’ve got depth out wide. We just need another goalscorer.

“If we can get that then I think we’ve got a chance of having a really good 2018.

“It’s exciting times for the club off the field. We’ve got to do our bit on the field now and get the crowds behind us, work collectively and get the right result.”

“We’ll still have speed bumps, we’ll still lose football games, but I just feel now we’ve got the right dressing room and group with maybe one more to be added to that.”

Meanwhile, Tiger Matty Templeton has signed for Evo-Stik Northern Premier outfit Matlock Town on dual-registration terms.
